Ron Mitori’s 40 years of primarily CFO experience across different industries have created greater efficiency and profitability. He used that same 5-step process in his personal life. In 2021, he saw an accelerated USA decline and wondered whether the same process could be scaled up to fix bigger societal and government problems, a lifelong interest of his. He researched and wrote Solutions Or Socialism. That book answers the questions of how and why we are now at a pivotal fork in our 250-year journey. It also shows where that will lead and an alternative and better path, using Solutionism to address 7 major national problems.
That process includes goals, key issues, and verifiable reporting of results. A solid process like Solutionism should be in place and functioning well for future elections. That will be a better way to decide elections than exorbitant sums of money, lies, exaggeration, and trendy, unproven ideologies that all have the effect of deeply polarizing us with heated rhetoric. Yes, WE NEED CHANGE, and it is coming — which one we get is up to us. The issue is not Republican vs. Democrat or Capitalism vs. Socialism — they have all been significantly corrupted. Ron demonstrated that his approach to solving business and personal challenges can be adapted to societal and governmental issues. We can embrace and honor the vision of our Founding Fathers and some other great US leaders to realize our destiny and become the Shining City on a Hill.

Those threats are US elections, government operations, crime, immigration, the China threat, and better critical resource strategies for water and energy. The 5-step Solutionism process (PICME) includes Prioritizing problems, Itemizing key issues and solution frameworks, Creating the details for solution framework implementation, Measuring success with metrics, and Explaining metric progress every 6 months. This is a new way of addressing issues and holding politicians accountable. Other major problems like education, media, and culture will be covered in a second book.
